Canon Construction's owner and home-builder, Jason Hoover, has decades of experience in building homes that began locally in Stark County.
Jason was born and raised in Jackson Township, Stark County. As a teenager, he began to do small jobs for his uncle, Skip Rea. Skip is a successful home builder in Stark County and the surrounding areas. From the age of twelve, Jason spent some of his summer vacation earning money by doing odd jobs such as mowing lawns and cleanup work for Rea Builders. Jason witnessed first-hand his Uncle Skip's commitment to quality, building strong relationships, and a solid work ethic.
Beginning at around sixteen years of age, Jason's work role matured into one that required more technique and skill. It was during that time that he worked as a tradesman on the construction of his uncle's homes. For several years, Jason spent time learning the trades and the value of hard work.
After his work as tradesman, Jason transitioned into his role as construction superintendent and service manager for Rea Builders. During those sixteen years, he managed the successful construction of over 200 homes. Jason worked on projects ranging in price from $200,000 up to over a million dollars. Through the years, Jason learned the value of honesty and integrity from Skip and Glenna Rea. He witnessed families build up to three homes with Skip as repeat customers, demonstrating their loyalty and trust in the company. While Jason worked as superintendent, he also completed a degree in Business Management.
Today, Jason resides in Jackson Township with his family and works exclusively as owner and builder of Canon Construction. Canon Construction serves customers in northeast Ohio seeking new home construction, remodeling work, additions, and finished basements. Customers consult with Jason to receive personalized homes plans customized to make the dream of owning a new home a reality.
